We are excited to share that QUDORA Technologies is participating in the CHAMP-ION project in context of the Chips Joint Undertaking (ChipsJU) supported by the European Chips Act. Coordinated by Silicon Austria Labs (SAL), the project aims to establish scalable and sustainable pilot line for ion trap chips in Europe.
For the next seven years, CHAMP-ION will establish a strategic partnership framework bringing together 21 partners from six European countries to advance the entire ion trap chip value chain from research to industrial-scale manufacturing as well as real-world applications in quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum communication.
Beyond its technological ambition, CHAMP-ION represents a strategic investment in Europeโs digital future and technological sovereignty to lead in quantum innovation at scale.
The consortium is comprised of:
โช๏ธ Research and Technology Organizations: Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) (SAL), Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB, Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS, VTT, INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, and INRiM – Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica
โช๏ธ Universities: Universitรคt Innsbruck, Leibniz Universitรคt Hannover, Universitรคt Siegen, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Universitร degli Studi di Padova, and Palackรฝ University Olomouc
โช๏ธ SMEs: AQT, neQxt GmbH, eleQtron GmbH, QUDORA Technologies, ParityQC, and AMIRES
โช๏ธ Large Enterprises: Infineon Technologies, Infineon Technologies Dresden GmbH
At QUDORA we are looking forward to leveraging our expertise in ion trap design and manufacturing of advanced ion trap quantum processors to provide value across the ion trap community.
